The Beer Club
Every Great Meal begins with Beer the History of the Weeping
Radish Brewery!
The Weeping Radish Brewery is North Carolina’s oldest micro
brewery. It has been in production since 1986. The brewery is
located at our Eco Farm in Jarvisburg, close to the
Cotton Gin
in Currituck County.
Brewery Tours
are held in
season every Wednesday at 3 pm.
Our beers have won many awards over the years. The Black Radish
is listed with the BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program), as
commercial example of a "Schwarzbier"
(Dark Beer). Our Black Radish Beer has also recently been chosen
online as one of the “50
beers to drink before you die”. Please ask your
server for the detailed beer description.
What is German Reinheitsgebot Beer?
In Bavaria, beer is still produced in strict accordance with the
Purity Law of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot),
which stipulates that only water, hops, malt and yeast are to be
used in the beer making process. Today, we uphold the same
values as these traditional brewers, and are pleased to provide
you with our fresh, handcrafted beers.
